Agiolax contains an optimal combination of insoluble and solube fibre from both the seeds and husks of the Psyllium plant. This is combined with the laxative herb Senna to create a carefully balanced formula, shown in studies to help relieve constipation and support regular healthy bowel function.2-4

Adults and adolescents over 12 years: Take one teaspoon in the evening, followed by a glass of water.

Agiolax granules and should be swallowed unchewed with a glass of water (approx 250ml) or mixed with any semi-liquid food, such as yoghurt. A bowel movement can be expected 8-12 hours after taking a dose.

Always read the label and follow the directions for use. Like all laxatives, do not use when abdominal pain, nausea or vomiting are present or if you develop diarrhoea. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding seek the advice of a health professional before taking this product. Prolonged use may cause serious bowel problems. Drink plenty of water. If symptoms persist talk to your health professional. Contains sucrose.

Each 5g (approx 1 teaspoon) contains:

  • Psyllium seed, dry 2.6 g
  • Ispaghula husk, dry 0.11 g
  • Senna fruit tinnevelly, equiv. to dry 500 mg containing 15 mg of sennosides
